The Pleasant Square Fire Company recently sold our 2011 International 2,000 gallon pumper tanker to a fire company in Pennsylvania . The revenue from this sale will go to pay off our loan Self Contained Breathing Apparatus loan with the remainder going toward the purchase of our new 2022 Fort Garry 2400 gallon pumper tanker with a freightliner 4 door chassis.
Open House & Recruitment
The Pleasant Square Volunteer Fire Company will be participating in the Annual RecruitNY statewide initiative with an open house at our fire station, 135 Easterly Street, on April 24 from 11:00am-3:00pm.
Firefighters will be present to answer recruitment questions, firetrucks will be out to view. Kids are more than welcome to attend if accompanied by an adult.
We also have a junior firefighter program for High School youth.
Admission to this event is free. Donations are always appreciated.

A New Fire Truck
Pleasant Square Volunteer Fire Company has purchased a new 2022 Fort Garry 2400 gallon pumper tanker with a freightliner 4 door chassis for $399,898.00 from Vander Molen Fire apparatus. The truck was financed through NCL Government Capital and will be delivered 13-15 months from now.

Michael Beck will be working toward becoming an exterior firefighter. Kandi Beck and Mandie Vosburgh have joined us as social members to assist with fundraising and other administrative functions of the fire company.
