Today we were dispatched to a smoke condition which turned out to be a working structure fire. Our initial crews made a fantastic stop and contained the fire to the kitchen with minor smoke and heat damage to the rest of the first floor. Meco was automatically dispatched for our daytime mutual aid agreement. Gloversville Fire was requested as the FAST team and Mayfield was placed on standby for us. The Fulton County EMO office, Fulton County Investigation Team and GAVAC were also requested to the scene. Yet again another great example of teamwork in action.
